Introduction

“ Beacon is a group for all Minecraft lovers, big and small, for knowledgeable members, and new ones. ”

History

The group was formerly known as Serenity, before Dan. decided on changing the group to something which could involve members of the wider community as well as a tight-knit group of friends. Whilst thinking of ways to cause a spark, he took note of the huge market for Minecraft on Hack Forums and decided to make his move. All of this happened within 30 minutes, and two hours later, the plans had been approved and payments had been made. The group was dedicated to Minecraft, with its own Minecraft server and website. The group surpassed his expectations and was one of the popular Minecraft servers on the forum, in the days before HackerCraft was created. Beacon has caused a huge boost of interest in the Minecraft sections, greatly improving its quality.

Current Status

The group was purchased by Platinum and changed into Guardians.
