Reverence - a feeling or attitude of deep respect tinged with awe; respect. These words summarize what our group stands for. We are a group of high-quality helpers and coders dedicated to making Hack Forums a better place, one post at a time. We aim to help any and all Hack Forums users by posting tutorials and answering questions. Reverence users are expected to maintain the highest quality of posting and wearing the user bar with pride! There are two sub-sections in our group, each equally important. Reverence Helpers are dedicated individuals who will complete Practice logs and will also work together to release tutorials and help desks in the name of Reverence, and raise the standard of quality across Hack Forums. Reverence Coders will collaborate to release high-quality products for free, or paid (all proceeds going towards Hack Forums).

General Recruitment Requirements:

  • Coders - 250 high quality posts
  • Helpers - 500 high quality posts
  • No open scam reports
  • Coding experience (Coders subsection only)
  • Posted at least one tutorial for the community (Helpers section)

The Reverence user group was the first Official Usergroup to be fully paid for by a member of Hack Forums. It was formed on the 24th of June 2011 with the user Astonish as its owner.

The group was focused on coding and mentored users who wished to learn different things about computing and programming in general. On the 30th of January 2012, Astonish posted a thread stating that Reverence would be changing to a gaming group by the name of Respawn.

Current Status

The group was changed to Respawn by Astonish.
