| Introduction = Beacon was an official group designed to give Minecraft lovers on Hack Forums a place to discuss everything related to the game of Minecraft. Beacon accepted both new and experienced Minecraft players into the group, granting Beacon a fierce diversity of members. Beacon helped shape the Minecraft section on Hack Forums, which greatly increased the qualities and standards of that section. Beacon had their own Minecraft server which became arguably the most popular server on Hack Forums until the arrival of [[HackerCraft]]. The server was ran by Beacon members and was open for the general public of the Hack Forums community.
Dan was the owner of [[Serenity]] until he realized that it sadly wasn't going the way he wanted it to. Whilst thinking of ways to cause a spark, he took note of the huge market for Minecraft on Hack Forums and decided to make his move. All of this happened within 30 minutes, and 2 hours later the plans had been approved and payments had been made. The group is dedicated to Minecraft, it even has its own Minecraft server and [[http://planetbeacon.com/index.php Forum]]. The group has surpassed his expectations, and at the time this article was written Beacon was closing in on 100 members. Beacon has caused a huge boost of interest in the Minecraft sections.

*Must have 150+ posts in the Minecraft, Server Management or HackerCraft section.
*Have some Minecraft experience. This could be on PC, Xbox or mobile.
