Introduction

'The Gamers Crew' is a diverse gaming community which is not restricted to one console or genre. Every little detail about gaming is discussed.

History

The Gamers were a legacy usergroup led by Mendacious, in the days before custom usergroups were available for members. They were the first gaming-based group on Hack Forums, which has been succeeded by Respawn, Skill and #@&%!, respectively.

The first recruitment thread was posted on the 8th of July 2009 and closed on the 20th of January 2010, with 42 members being accepted. The group held two other recruitments in the following year and a half, before closing on the 27th of June 2011 as a result of low quality in the forum, and members using the group to collaborate reputation abuse and other rule breaking.

Current Status

As a result of low quality in the forum, and members using the group to collaborate reputation abuse and other rule breaking, the group was closed.
