Group History
The Reverence usergroup was the first Official Usergroup to be fully paid for by a member of Hack Forums. It was formed on the 24th of June 2011 with the user Astonish being its owner. The group was focused on Coding and Mentoring users who wished to learn different things about computing and programming in general. On the 30th of January 2012, Astonish posted a thread stating that Reverence would be changing to a gaming group by the name of Respawn.
Goal or Manifesto
We are a group of high quality helpers and coders dedicated to making Hackforums a better place, one post at a time. (sic)
Recruitment
The group held a normal recruitment, with the following requirements:
- 500 high quality posts
- Positive reputation
- No open scam reports
- At least 2 posts per day in the sub-forum
- Coding experience (Coders subsection only)
- Posted at least one tutorial for the community (Helpers section)
