What is Prestige

Prestige Formula
The formula for calculating a member's prestige is kept Secret by Omniscient. Many members have come close to cracking the prestige formula but one has yet to nail the final formula. It is known that reputation, post count, join date and awards are some of the factors that play a role in determining a member's prestige.
Prestige Uses
- Many members use prestige when dealing in the Marketplace to gauge the credibility of another user.
- Some forums (such as Science, Religion, Philosophy, and Politics and Innuendo) require members to have a certain prestige level in order to post in that section.
