Biography

In an unexpected sudden decision, Wolves decided to join Hack Forums on January 23, 2011 after seeing the site linked in various places all over the Internet. Having no initial goals to start with, he simply asked a particular user to get him and his friend to a higher rank on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Being naturally nice and helpful, he started to become more active by selling and giving away Gears of War 3 beta codes to the community. Someone eventually noticed this and gifted him his first user upgrade as a surprise.

Although Wolves served as a leader of Black Knights and Red Lions during his time on the forum, to him, his acceptance to The Alliance as his first group was incomparable for the sole reason that he treated it like it was a family -- one of which he also led as well at some point.

After stepping down from leadership of his user groups, Wolves went inactive for a few months. Upon his return in the late months of 2012, even though his views of the forum had changed quite a bit, he still embraced it wholly when Omniscient promoted him to Mentor. He also got promoted to Staff in early 2013, but his position as staff only lasted for a short period of time due to academic and personal circumstances. Although short-lived, his experience as a Staff member was an eye-opener for him because it brought him the realization that being one is not as easy a task as many others would otherwise suggest.

As with much things in life and medication, make sure you take the site in appropriate doses.

When asked about the forum's influence on him, Wolves stated:

Nothing truly affected my real life from the forums. I felt the forum truly isn't a dark corner of the Internet and the media contorts this image of a "hacker" we all imagine. Hackers are simply social engineers manipulating a system put in place by companies.
