Consensus is based around everything to do with crypto technology, ranging from mining, investments, tools and resources and general crypto discussion. Consensus aims to provide as much information to the Hack Forums community as possible, thus they plan to constantly post guides, tutorials, tools, resources and investment strategies, as well as hosting giveaways and contests. Consensus is also associated with their own website, consensus.fun. This website is aimed to make fun challenges, competitions and giveaways for the Hack Forums community in the name of Consensus. Consensus is currently publishing a weekly newsletter regarding what has occurred in the past week within the crypto world. The Consensus newsletter has become extremely popular within the Hack Forums community and aims to provide information to members, keeping them up to date with the happenings of the crypto world. Consensus members work together within the groups sub-forum to present the newsletter each week. The weekly newsletter features notable threads from Hack Forums, coin news and updates, website news, a weekly 'investment of the week' and much more.
Consensus was formed on June 14, 2017, which is when it was purchased directly from Omniscient by 'Fox for an undisclosed figure. Consensus was formed shortly after The Brotherhood was sold, resulting in Lookin's crypto sub-sector within The Brotherhood also having to disband. Lookin was not satisfied with what he had done for the community, which lead to a partnership with 'Fox and the creation of Consensus.
Consensus is currently active however the recruitment is currently closed.
