2007

• Hackforums.net is launched: On the 2nd of May 2007, The site starts, you can read all about it here.

• The first ever thread is posted:The first thread ever was posted in the hacking section and of the entire forum. You can find the thread here.

• Kuroda_Shun becomes the sites first staff member: The member Kuroda_Shun became staff. He was the first member to do so.
• Codine became the second staff member: The member Codine became the sites second ever staff member.

2008

• The Lounge section is added: Omni adds a Lounge section to the forum. It can be found here. It currently has over 4,000,000 posts.
• Hanzo became site admin: The member Hanzo has become an admin of the site, I currently have no more information on this.
• Crow became staff: The member Crow became staff.
• sangederomin became staff: The member sangederomin became staff.
• bsdpunk became staff: The member bsdpunk became staff. You can find a thread about it here.
• Hackforums gets compromised: Hackforums gets compromised due to moderation abuse. All the information I could find is located here.
• Raiseilord became staff: The member Raiseilord became staff. You can read more here.
• InfamousBytes, Knight120891, Psinetic and Simon Parker became staff: The members InfamousBytes, Knight120891, Psinetic and Simon Parker all became staff. More information required.

2009

• Psinetic is removed from staff: The member Psinetic was removed from the staff team. You can read more here.
• VipVince became staff: The member VipVince became staff. You can read more here.
• FBI Seizes Hackforums(April Fools): The FBI had shut down HF or so everyone thought, Omni later confirmed that it was in fact an April Fools prank. You can read more here.
• iBruteForce became staff: The member iBruteForce became staff. More information can be found here.
• GhostExodus is arrested: The member GhostExodus was arrested for hacking into a hospitals air-conditioning system, I think this is the first time a member was arrested so I decided to include it, you can find more information here.
• The Hackforums Twitter is set up: The Hackforums twitter was set up. It's a very good source for information and it can be found here.
• Omni gives away 10,000 Zimbabwe dollars to celebrate 1,000,000 posts: Omni decides to do a giveaway in celebration of reaching one million posts. The thread can be found here.

• The Rated R Superstar became staff: The member The Rated R Superstar became staff.
