Group History

The Wifi Gang was an Offical Usergroup formed by the member Wifi (now Ciroc) on February 2nd, 2013, to be the first music production group on Hack Forums. They posted heavily in the Melody, Harmony, Rhythm and MP3 section, educating members on songs which have been made, as well as demonstrating correct methods of creating songs and other audio.

The group did not have any set genre which they focused on, but they did post frequent threads on hip-hop and rap. The official description of the group was:

Rhythm; a group of members that act as one. We create, publish, distribute, recognize and have fun with music. In this group we will have sing/dance-offs and other fun contests. Want to get your music discovered? This is a great group for you.

The group was changed to the group Legacy by the user Vinnie' on April 30th, 2013.

Goal or Manifesto

WiFi Gang is a group dedicated to the musical arts, We are composed of talented Artists, Songwriters, Producers & Musicians. We work together to make new content for people to enjoy. We share our knowledge and experience in creating pieces of art that will last throughout the ages.

Recruitment

The group did have several recruitment threads, with the following requirements to be eligible to a place in the group:

• Must make music, either be a singer, rapper, producer, musician, and / or song writer.
• Must have at least 200 posts.
• Must have a warning level of 0%
• No spamming or low quality posting.
• No open or unresolved scam reports.
• No flaming of members.
• You may have negative reputations but they will be reviewed on a case to case basis.
• Can be only in 3 groups or less. (WiFi Gang counting as the fourth)(l33T & Ub3r Don't count as groups!)
