User Group Bias is a phenomenon observed when a user is biased towards or against another user based on their user group. (Ex. Someone thinks of an Ub3r as higher than a l33t, without seeing the posts of either user.) This phenomenon has been observed throughout the existence of user groups on Hack Forums and is thought to be prevalent throughout the site. Users that are not ub3r usually have lower reputation than users that are ub3r. This phenomenon could also extend to custom user groups.
