They had many dancing and singing competitions within the group, occasionally hosting public events for all Hack Forums members to participate. Music was not regularly discussed on Hack Forums, and [[Positive]] wanted to change that with Rhythm, attempting to make music a bigger part of Hack Forums. Rhythm eventually became more of a lounge style group, reaching 100,000 posts in the groups private sub-forum. This was the most amount of posts any group had ever achieved within their private sub-forum.

[[Positive]] created several polls to see what direction the Hack Forums community wanted [[Techsperts]] to go, with Rhythm being the outright winner. Rhythm was formed in June 2012 and their first public recruitment was on the 18th of June, 2012. Rhythm had several open recruitment threads and accepted buy-ins on each occasion.
