TheChief then signed up and became a dedicated member on HackForums. TheChief was very intrigued by the domain of HackForums & the hacking section's activity. | Biography = Lust. joined Hack Forums on the 7th of July, 2011 after being referred by his friend when searching for methods to jailbreak his iPhone. He never expected Hack Forums to become such a big part of his life.

After joining and becoming involved in the community more, he wanted to reach 1,000 overall posts. He felt this was a widely set goal by many members. He also wanted to leave a lasting impact on at least one member of the community before he left. His final goal was to some day own an official usergroup.

He somewhat completed all of his set goals. He recently achieved 1,000 posts after being inactive for a long period of time and having his post count decreased substantially due to a number of post recounts held by [[Omniscient]]. He managed to make a lasting impact on another member whose name is unknown, by helping out with funds and the running of his beloved Minecraft server. He hosted the Minecraft server for the member for several months until the member was back on his feet and able to run it alone.

He never completed his goal of owning an official usergroup, however he did manage to become a leader of one. In late May, 2012, he was added as a leader to the official coding based usergroup, [[Coders]]. He remained a leader when the group changed to [[Logic]] and was removed after having his account banned for a month and eventually closed. Leading the two usergroups with [[Hexicidal]] was one of his favorite times on Hack Forums.

He believes he did earn the respect of many members during his time on HackForums. The Coders usergroup helped many members who were looking to advance with their skills. Before the Coders usergroup moved on, he decided to release every exclusive tutorial he had made for the group, public. A lot of members were highly appreciative of this.

When he was asked if there were any members who made an impact on his time on Hack Forums, he replied:

| Biography = -mothered- was often referred to as a 'bot' due to his robotic posting style and his emotionless replies. Although this was all a rumour many people still insist he/she is one. The rumours were fuelled when Omniscient replied to his banning and subsequent closure with the following:

-mothered- was closed shortly after September 2011 due to being 'hacked' and possibly had their password bruteforced - their posting style suddenly changed; they lacked common grammar and spelling and the posting was less reformed. This alerted many members and -mothered- was eventually closed.

| Biography = Aura started IT in Cégep and his best friend was in the same program and class at him. They started reading on hacking and thought that it would be nice to learn to hack people for fun and also learn how it works. So Aura ended up searching on google for some hacking tutorials and hacking related stuff until he ended up on Hack Forums. Aura started reading the threads around the forum, and even asked a couple of questions in the [http://hackforums.net/forumdisplay.php?fid=4 Beginner Hacking section]. Aura quickly lost interest after and then left for a few months. When he came back, He started assisting in the [http://hackforums.net/forumdisplay.php?fid=86 Windows section] and this is where Aura's journey on Hack Forums began.
Aura explored a few threads in the Whitehat Section and was contacted by Chief'. Aura used that occasion to tell Chief' that he really like his tutorial on an Anti-Virus, He then began to talk about Malware Removal. This is where Chief' had proposed to Aura to introduce him to his mentor, which he did, and this is where he got started in Malware removal.
"I was basically picking up threads and posting what I learned from my mentor who was supervising me and guiding me on Skype for a while. After a while, I was decent enough to take care of threads myself and started exploring more tools, more investigation methods, etc. I did a lot of TeamViewer support (so much, that I'm limited right now and cannot use the program for more than 5 minutes) where I learned way more than I could have ever imagined"
