| Biography = Cryptic™ found Hack Forums in 2011 while looking for RuneScape Hacks. He made an account, lurked around for 30 minutes and completely forgot about the forum until March 2012.

During his time away from Hack Forums Cryptic was running his own two RuneScape Private servers. The first being Axscape which was based on Dodian 2.0 and ImpulsePK being the second, which was based on ProjectInsanty. Both were huge RSPS's with 200+ players and were very popular. At the time he didn't know he could make money online, so he ran the servers out of his own pocket and didn't make a cent from it.

Eventually Cryptic started volunteering for an online free WebHost called IsMyWebsite. He made his way up through the company and eventually became head of the Abuse Department.

Cryptic somehow found his way back to Hack Forums in March 2012 and noticed there was a hosting section in the market place.
He then set up his own sales for Cryptic Hosting which he merged with Eden Hosting. Eventually they unmerged and the thread is currently sitting in the Synergy SF so you will not be able to see it, but it has 43 pages and close to 500 replies from 2012/2013.

<blockquote>I realized that HF had a big untapped market, so I started up multiple products such as a booter (Which I shut down September 2013). Now I provide private hosting to many HF users, and I sell VPN's.
Hack Forums has a very big market place, which, if you can take advantage of properly, you can reap some really great rewards. I've made close to 150K off of HF over the years and I am excited to see what the future holds.</blockquote>

Connected joined [[Hack Forums]] on August 31, 2010 with the original goal of learning how to RAT users who played the game RuneScape. He had joined just to check out one thread on the site regarding the latter and left when he got what he wanted. One year later, however, he decided to come back but he had lost access to the e-mail he used for his account, alongside with forgetting his password. Connected registered again and by providing proof of ownership, both of his accounts were merged and that is the account he uses to this day.

Not many members made an impact on Connected. He made many friends on Hack Forums, but only a few left a positive mark on Connected's life. The two greatest members who made a connection with him were [[xadamxk]] and [[Daisy]]. xadamxk got Connected into his first group, [[The Empire]]. Daisy is "the nicest person on Hack Forums. Both "have always been true" to Connected. The other members made a smaller impact, but are "still great friends." They are [[Vazity]], [[iNuke]], [[The Don Killuminati]], [[Corso]], [[Peter L]], [[Penar]], and [[Cryptic™]].

Connected is also a member of a lot of groups. As of July 12, 2013, he is in 6 official groups. These are [[Writ3rs]], [[Complexity]], [[Reviewers]], [[The Brotherhood]], [[Black Diamond]], and [[The Empire]].

Having heard about Hack Forums from an old friend, the user Cody joined on November 24, 2011 with the intention of lurking. However, after spending some time browsing the site and becoming aware of what Hack Forums had to offer, he quickly started increasing his activity and after a few weeks of deliberation, purchased L33T while wondering if Hack Forums would be something he would enjoy using, which, as it turns out,

Drawing on his firsthand experience of Hack Forums, Cody then sent a request to the user [[Daisy]]--with whom he had a previous relationship with--to join Hack Forums, marking the start of what would be and is one of the most famous partnerships on the forum.

After firmly establishing himself on Hack Forums, Cody set many goals for himself as a member, the most prioritized of which were to be approved for [[Ub3r|Ub3r membership]], hitting 1000 [[Reputation|reputation]] points and becoming an all-around nice member on the forum. While all three goals have been fulfilled at this point in time, Cody, having purchased Ub3r on June 27, 2012 (after around six months), said:

<blockquote> One of the goals that now feels insignificant would be me being approved for Ub3r. Although I enjoy being Ub3r, and I am honored that I was accepted, it seems now that it's not too important with what I do on Hack Forums. If I wasn't Ub3r I'd still be able to do what I do now.</blockquote>

His greatest achievement to date could be said to be the co-ownership of the group 143 with Daisy.

Ever since joining [[Rhythm]], Cody and Daisy began to have serious thoughts about owning a group, eventually contacting [[Omniscient]] before the limit on purchased groups was put into place. After choosing the name 143, which stands for the phrase "I love you" it was decided the focus of the group would be "giving", in whatever form. When asked to speak on the status of the group as it is, he had only one thing to say.

<blockquote>I'm more than pleased how 143 is currently, having become a great group with tons of support. We've had ups and downs but in the end I couldn't ask to 'own' a better group.</blockquote>

Part of the reason the group 143 is kept running efficiently and well is due to a philosophy which both he and Daisy live by. The constant organization of thoughts and constant updates on the actions they plan to take results in them acting in the same manner as often as possible. The key to his and Daisy’s success can be summed up in the following sentence.

Codevade joined [[Hack Forums]] on February 27, 2010. After mainly being interested in marketing and the marketplace in general, he started to contribute more to the forum.

Around this time he had started to think about buying his own [[List_of_groups|Group]], after discussing it with [[bugga]] and [[Judge Dredd]] as it was a unique idea which no one had tried to do yet. He started to gather funds. In the coming months he had set up the ideas and principles of his group to be: [[Marketers|The Marketers]]

On July 23, 2011, Codevade officially purchased The Marketers as the first market-based group on Hack Forums. Over the coming months, The Marketers was established as a group with a $50 membership fee.

Over the next year Codevade made a name for himself as the owner of The Marketers and owner of the Xpozure products. He was awarded the [[Businessman]] award on December 23, 2012.

==Biography==
Castle Bravo joined the [[Hack Forums]] community on May 10th, 2010. The very first group owned by Castle was the [[Minecrafters]]. It was a group of players who had a private server for group members only. You were able to share tips, show off your work, and just have fun when you got access to their subforum. Without a public announcement, the Minecrafters transformed into the [[Root]] group which was closed later in March of the year 2013. He has been known for doing malicious things to members on the forum, such as harassing, threatening, as well as other things. Castle Bravo was very interested in making money off of selling Root, and he had a lot of money to blow. He was 14 years old and he earned more money than most kids around that age. Most likely, a few members that would have made an impact on him would be, [[RyanC]] and [[Starfall]] who were leading the group with him.

During his time on Hack Forums, Castle Bravo abused his moderator privileges. He would stick threads in his sub-forum, and move them to the [http://www.hackforums.net/forumdisplay.php?fid=25 The Lounge]. This is when [[Omniscient]] finally had enough and closed all leaders accounts, the Root group itself, and any members who assisted banned members/supported the group.

==Biography==
Bullet's time on Hack Forums begins on August 24, 2011. As a new member, he did nothing of interest for a couple of months but simply lurked and looked for booters. With only a brief experience of booters, he thought he had struck gold when he scored himself a copy of Jay's Booter. But since that time, he has found many great things including members, and friends.

After his time with booters settled down a little, he took to learning how to hack and sharing his knowledge on game modding. He did quite well at exceeding his goals, but decided not to pursue an interest in hacking after a short while.

During his time on the site, Bullet has formed friendships with [[Astonish]], 630, Christy, Saturday, Soulmate, and Madness. He met most of these users shortly after joining, and states that they're all family to him.

Hack Forums has had no impact on Bullet's life offline and when asked about it he responded with:

<blockquote>I hear about people freaking out about the database for L33T's and Ub3rs being leaked but to be honest it's not that big of a deal. Don't stress it, what? They'll send you a few pizzas, maybe swat you if they know what they're doing. But that's really it, doesn't scare me. </blockquote>

Baked joined [[Hack Forums]] on January 14, 2009 after wanting to try to hack new accounts on the game Habbo Hotel via some new methods--[[Remote Administration]] and [[Keylogging]]. Although he was new to the forums he quickly gained knowledge, both generally and in his chosen areas of interest.

After becoming a leader of The [[RAT's Crew]], on June 23, 2011, he started to give back to the community through products and information.

He started to look at Hack Forums from more of a business standpoint and along with his partner and created one of the longest-running crypters, having over 600 paying customers at the height of their sales. Wanting to focus on his group and leave his reputation on an all-time high, him and his partner ceased their sales and parted ways.

He was upgraded to the [[Ub3r]] on February 18, 2011.

After the disbandment of The RAT's Crew in late 2011, he contributed to look for more places to help others.

Almost a year later with the introduction of the [[Teror]] user group , he was promoted to a leader of the group on January 6, 2013.

He currently is a leader of Terror and is "sill trying to help others to the best of his ability".

When asked if anyone had ever made an impact on him, he replied:

Astonish joined Hack Forums late January 2011 in order to obtain a shell booter with some of his GameBattles partners. After purchasing Atomic Booter, he left the forum with his goal achieved. During mid-March he realized the potential Hack Forums had to offer and started to post on a more frequent basis, until eventually he joined several groups on HF. After joining and leaving others, he began to form ideas of purchasing his own group.

At the start of May, he considered the possibility more and more--that he could have his own user group to own and run. He made contact with [[Hуѕтєяιa X™]] about his idea to start a coding user group, but was told to talk to [[xerotic]], one of the main coders on the site and a staff member at that time.

After almost two months of planning and preparation, Astonish went to Western Union and sent [[Omniscient]] the required money. On June 22, Reverence was formed. Shortly after buying the group and having a lot of feedback, he was awarded several unique awards shortly after, such as the [[Dog Lover]] on July 3, the [[Fish Err Man]] on July 16 and the [[Cool]] award on August 2.

Although Reverence was the first fully-paid [[Category:Group |Usergroup]] on Hack Forums, the group had begun to become inactive over time leading to the inevitable time where a drastic change had to be made. On February 14, 2012 Reverence was officially changed to Respawn--a purely gaming group and becoming the first paid group to being about gaming, after The Gamers was disbanded.

After an incredibly successful first recruitment, he was granted [[The Protector]] award on February 24 and shortly after was promoted to Mentor position.

On August 6, he was awarded the [[MOTM |Member of the Month (MOTM)]] award. Around mid-August, he was demoted from the Mentor position, for being staff on another site that Omniscient did not approve of.
On January 1, 2013 he was awarded the [[FPS Gawd]] award.

On April 28th, 2013, Respawn was changed to the usergroup [[Innovation]].

On May 9th, he asked for several of his awards to be revoked and was re-granted Mentor status.

On January 8th, 2015, Astonish sold his group to [[Arrow]] for an undisclosed sum. After the transfer of his group, his account was closed upon request.

Apple J4ck. joined Hack Forums on September 18, 2012 after the forum was recommended to him by a close friend. When he first joined he was the most active in the Website and Forum Hacking section, where he began to meet new members as he picked up and shared knowledge on the subject. Later on, Apple took the plunge and purchased the [[Brony]] award for $100, an award notorious for the fact that Omniscient insults you, albeit in a jokingly manner, upon purchase. As a teen, Anonymous was very interested in the art of deceiving and tricking other people, which brought him to magic as it is 80% human manipulation. The [[Hack Forums]] Ub3r upgrade is the second and final upgrade which almost any member can do on their account, with the exceptions of the [[Mentor]], [[Staff]] and [[Administrators]] positions.
The Ub3r upgrade is now an automated process which can be started by any member on the condition that their account is over 60 days old.
This upgrade was added to the site on the 21st of December 2009 and has remained ever since.

The benefits of upgrading to the Ub3r status are as follows:

*You are able to junk one of your threads every 24 hours.

If a member is too low-quality, they may be permanently denied.

If a member is accepted, they are provided a link to upgrade, to which they are to pay $22.99 USD (Plus any transaction fees) for the upgrade.
They are to wait up to 48 hours to be upgraded, and if that time passes and they have not been upgraded, they are to PM [[Omniscient]] with their Transaction ID.
Some countries however do not accept Paypal as a method of purchasing this upgrade, so other methods must be found.

There are currently 3 different options of the application:

Ethereal was introduced to Hack Forums through gaming. During a Halo 3 match with his friends, a member of the opposing team utilized a hostbooter. It was this member that convinced Ethereal to register at Hack Forums and offered him related services to the booter. Although Ethereal signed up, he didn't really see the point of the website at first. Ethereal returned a month later with an interest in programming and the programming forums, however, he wasn't welcomed with the most warmth due to his demeanor and attitude around the forums.

Ethereal applied for entrance into [[The Alliance]] and was accepted at 130 posts and 23 reputation points. The acceptance into The Alliance and further earned responsibilities encouraged him to keep posting. His experience with The Alliance was positive enough to get him to be a regular poster, stay involved and contribute to the forums, through Alliance activities at first. In an interview, he has stated:

Outside of The Alliance, Ethereal has branched out into other groups. In the Writ3rs, he is the Right Hand Man to leader Viral Dragon and carries much of the responsibility of the group. He was recruited under the original leader of the Writ3rs, ITylerallen. After problems in leadership led to Viral Dragon heading the group, Ethereal was promoted to Head Publisher and Right Hand Man. Ethereal was granted temporary co-leadership of Writ3rs with D3xus after Viral Dragon fell ill for a considerable amount of time. Upon Viral's return, Ethereal resumed his position as Right Hand Man, and still carries a lot of leadership responsibility.

These are usergroups which members purchased from Hack Forums. They are member owned, and have one or more leaders. These usergroups come with their own sub-forum as well as a userbar. These sub-forums have one moderator, usually the sole owner of the group. Groups such as these each have their own purpose determined by the leaders. These groups are no longer for purchase from Hack Forums, though owners may sell their own group to another. There is a $250.00 ownership transfer fee. Groups can be deleted at the discretion of the administration, and the spot that their group occupied on the forum may be sold to the highest bidder.

These groups admit members based entirely on their own accord. Some groups may post a recruitment thread in which they require users to submit some form of work, while others only invite users they hand select. These groups are not affiliated with Hack Forums, but rather reside here. Only the leaders may choose who are members of the group.

==Site Groups==
These groups, namely MRT and the HF Writers, are groups created by Omniscient, but led by members which service Hack Forums. Each group has their own sub-forum and userbar. These groups only accept members who are of Ub3r status. To get into these groups, you must either be invited or apply via a recruitment thread.

Here is a brief description of each group:

*[[Writ3rs]] - The Writers are divided up into three different sections. The group has two different teams, each in charge of doing something different.
The first part of the HF Writers is HF News Team. Each week, there is a news edition posted which details things that have gone on around Hack Forums. The second part of the HF Writers is the Wiki Team. They are in charge of creating a Wiki site to be implemented into Hack Forums. It is a living history of Hack Forums that is not yet released.

==Staff and Administration Group==

[[Mentors]] - This group is comprised of hand-picked members by Omniscient. They moderate various sections but are not Staff and should not act or be treated as such. They cannot see reports.

[[Staff]] - This group deals with all of the reports on Hack Forums and enforces the rules. They are members who are deemed trusted enough to moderate all of Hack Forums. Members can turn to these members for help with regards to the site.

[[Administrators]] - Administrators of Hack Forums each have their own specific role.

*[[Omniscient]]- He runs Hack Forums. He is the sole owner of the site. He is the only one who handles upgrades, donations, and stickies. He has final word on everything here.

*[[Xch4ng3]]- Xch4ng3 is in charge of ban evaders, people who have sold their account, and people with multiple accounts.

*[[Factor8™]]- He is in charge of lost and stolen accounts.
