| Introduction = The Brotherhood is currently a closed group that was previously known for recruiting members for sections like Gaming, White Hat Help, Computing, Pentesting, Graphics, Music and Server Administration. The group previously hosted a "Spy Squad" that worked towards exposing members who were multi-accounters, account sellers, and account buyers. The group is also notable for its reputation, and many of Hack Forums' most well-known users have been affiliated with the group at one time or another.
| History = The group was initially invitation only, but opened recruitment due to such high interest from members in joining the group. The group was formerly known as the [[Marketers]], until it was closed due to members' involvement in massive thread bumping. It was purchased by [[Cryptic™]] and remained a blank group for approximately a month, until June 2013. In November of 2013, the group had plans to sell to another member and become something else, but they ended when the member [[xflat]] purchased [[Connected]]'s leadership in the group.

The Brotherhood is currently the second-oldest group on Hack Forums (behind Red Lions). Over its lifespan it has had many different foci, from running a Spy squad to unmask rule-breakers, being invite-only and exclusive, running a White Hat Academy, and operating various sectors.

Polymath's members also released a variety of tutorials, projects, and events in the group's name such as Polymath Radio, AI chatbot, soundtracks for the group, original animations, and giveaways. Work on the final project - a globe-spanning, real-world 'Cicada 3301' lookalike - ceased when the group was sold to form Crypto. Lani cited lack of time as the reason for the group's sale.

| Biography = Invisus wanted to find a hacking forum in order to learn the basics of the art. He finally signed up after browsing for quite some time. To this day, Invisus did not complete his original goal which was to become a hacker. Invsis stayed on Hack Forums for other reasons. He started holding giveaways to earn respect, but all he got was shallow positive reputation which wasn't enough. To change this, Invisus started writing quality graphics tutorials.

The member Unreputed has made the biggest impact on Invisus. He is "brutally honest and is always down to earth". Invisus finds himself inspired by this member.

Because of Hack Forums, Invisus' real-life interest in Digital Art was born.

Following the drama surrounding Unreputed's ban, Invisus voluntarily banned himself for six months.

Sai was introduced to Hack Forums by a personal friend during June of 2011. He hoped to gain entry into the [[Graphic Masters (Usergroup)|Graphic Masters]] group, and he eventually saw himself become the owner of the group. However, his ownership was mired in controversy; he appeared to manipulate and scam other Graphic Masters members (notably iBarneyzz) in order to attain full ownership himself at a fraction of the cost. Although this was recognised by most users and Omniscient, site staff chose to take no action, stating that it was the fault of the victims for being gullible.

Having joined in 2011, Unreputed expressed a keen interest in graphic design. After running a series of unofficial graphics groups, Unreputed began running the 'Signature of the Week' contest, and by early 2013 he was running recruitments for Graphic Masters. Following the group's change in direction, Unreputed also served as a long-time leader of Fly by Night, a hyper-exclusive arts group.

Following multiple run-ins with site staff, Unreputed's reputation was eventually reset (and his account closed) for comments interpreted by the Mentor Positive as homophobic.

Astonish joined Hack Forums late January 2011 in order to obtain a shell booter with some of his GameBattles partners. After purchasing Atomic Booter, he left the forum with his goal achieved. During mid-March he realized the potential Hack Forums had to offer and started to post on a more frequent basis, until eventually he joined several groups on HF. After joining and leaving others, he began to form ideas of purchasing his own group.

At the start of May, he considered the possibility more and more--that he could have his own user group to own and run. He made contact with [[Hуѕтєяιa X™ (User)|Hуѕтєяιa X™]] about his idea to start a coding user group, but was told to talk to [[xerotic (User)|xerotic]], one of the main coders on the site and a staff member at that time.

After almost two months of planning and preparation, Astonish went to Western Union and sent [[Omniscient (User)|Omniscient]] the required money. On June 22, Reverence was formed. Shortly after buying the group and having a lot of feedback, he was awarded several unique awards shortly after, such as the [[Dog Lover (Award)|Dog Lover]] on July 3, the [[Fish Err Man (Award)|Fish Err Man]] on July 16 and the [[Cool (Award)|Cool]] award on August 2.

Although Reverence was the first fully-paid [[Usergroup]] on Hack Forums, the group had begun to become inactive over time leading to the inevitable time where a drastic change had to be made. On February 14, 2012 Reverence was officially changed to Respawn--a purely gaming group and becoming the first paid group to being about gaming, after The Gamers was disbanded.

After an incredibly successful first recruitment, he was granted [[The Protector (Award)|The Protector]] award on February 24 and shortly after was promoted to Mentor position.

On August 6, he was awarded the Member of the Month (MOTM) award, after having 123 Votes. Around mid-August, he was demoted from the Mentor position. When asked, his statement was:

On January 8th, 2015, Astonish sold his group to [[Arrow (User) | Arrow]] for an undisclosed sum. After the transfer of his group, his account was closed upon request.

==Biography==

Sir joined Hack Forums under the original name Elysianman on October 16, 2010. This was also his Minecraft name. His original reason for joining Hack Forums was through a Minecraft server where players talked about Hack Forums. In his earlier days, his posts were mostly focused in the Minecraft section, until he became a part of the Reviewers.

He wrote the Gamers News, back when there was a Gamers group. This led to Qwazz reaching out and asking if he would like to do the User News section for the HF News. He continued to write this section for the HF News until there was what he called a "Hostile Takeover" that involved xerotic and Judge Dredd harassing new leader Cobalt+. This led to a change of leadership within the HF News, something that Sir was adamant about making public. Shortly after, Omniscient created the Writ3rs group, which housed the HF News and later the Wiki team.

Sir became leader of the HF News after Cobalt+, where he served as leader and Publisher of the HF News for 2 years. He also offered a writing service to the public.

In March 2015 Sir's account was closed and his reputation was reset by Omniscient following Sir's part in the publication of an Unofficial 'W1k1' written by members of the Writ3rs group, which Omniscient had not authorised.
