| Introduction = The Brotherhood is currently a closed group that was previously known for recruiting members for sections like Gaming, White Hat Help, Computing, Pentesting, Graphics, Music and Server Administration. The group previously hosted a "Spy Squad" that worked towards exposing members who were multi-accounters, account sellers, and account buyers. Today, the group is focused on teaching members how to become White Hat Helpers.

In November of 2013, the group had plans to sell to another member and become something else, but they ended when the member [[xflat]] purchased [[Connected]]'s leadership in the group.

| Biography = Armada joined [[Hack Forums]] in 2011. His original intent was to find IRC attack scripts, to attack his own IRC network to stress test certain services. Armada wasn't too active between the years of 2012 to 2014. After returning to the site in 2015, his activity greatly increased and now has over 19,000 individual posts on the site. The majority of his posts can be found in the [[Remote Administration Tools]], [[The Lounge]] and [[Rules, Announcements, News, and Feedback]] suforums.

Over the course of a couple years, Armada picked up many different skills ranging from small-time coding to increasing his knowledge in the [[Remote Administration Tools]] and network infiltration. After poster around the forums a bit, Armada got involved in the [[Marketplace]]. The activity and profitability of the section intrigued Armada into buying and selling different tools, most famously, the [https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5228191 Orcus Remote Administrator].

Armada starting creating the Orcus Project in late 2015 with the user [https://hackforums.net/member.php?action=profile&uid=2883763 Sorzus]. The project took 6 months to release to the public. Once the project was released, the market exploded. It is estimated that around 4000 units were sold between the various versions available.

When asked about his hopes surrounding the project, Armada replied.
<blockquote>I did not have a large hope for Orcus. It was curiosity I would say that got it all started. Sorzus had posted about a project he had written and wanted the communities opinion on what to do with it. I PMed him out of curiosity and with my experience with Remote Admin Tools, Realized the power and flexibility he had incorporated into the project (Then known as Snorkel) I discussed with him to launch it professionally, and well, that is how it started. After testing and Implementation, My central hope was to be a leader in the professional Remote Administrative technologies industry, despite the numerous setbacks, I feel we have accomplished what we wanted to do.</blockquote>

Armada became a Leader of [[Legends]] in February of 2017, shortly after its creation. Armada later created led the [https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5665178 RAT Division] for [[Legends]], recruitment for the division officially opened up in July of 2017. A couple of weeks later, he was then kicked after a heated argument with the user [https://hackforums.net/member.php?action=profile&uid=1844212 Bull™]. Armada was later readded by the owner of the group, [[Raymond Reddington]].

When asked if there were any users who had a great influence on his time on [[Hack Forums]], he replied.

Aura explored a few threads in the Whitehat Section and was contacted by [[Chief']]. [[Aura]] used that occasion to tell [[Chief']] that he really like his tutorial on an Anti-Virus, He then began to talk about Malware Removal. This is where [[Chief']] had proposed to [[Aura]] to introduce him to his mentor, which he did, and this is where he got started in Malware removal.
"I was basically picking up threads and posting what I learned from my mentor who was supervising me and guiding me on Skype for a while. After a while, I was decent enough to take care of threads myself and started exploring more tools, more investigation methods, etc. I did a lot of TeamViewer support (so much, that I'm limited right now and cannot use the program for more than 5 minutes) where I learned way more than I could have ever imagined"

However, becoming concerned that his computer might have fallen victim to a virus, he then decided to post in the [[White Hat Malware, Virus, and Rat Removal Help]] section. Upon posting, a member by the name of Knautschtabak assisted him in removing the virus successfully. It was then that Nuworld found interest in malware removal and decided to spend his free time in the section to learn as much as he could on the subject. Knautschtabak also decided to put out a recruitment thread stating he would teach 5 members everything he knew about virus removal. Nuworld was selected as one of the 5 members, and after a year of learning, he became a notable member in the [[White Hat Malware, Virus, and Rat Removal Help]] section.

His contributions to the [[White Hat Malware, Virus, and Rat Removal Help]] section caught the attention of a leader in the [[Brotherhood]], a very prestigious group at that time. Nuworld was swiftly invited and later on became a notable leader himself. Unfortunately, this was all short-lived, as the [[Brotherhood]] was sold to a user named Vyrez. After the sale of the group, Nuworld's activity on the forums declined until he applied and was accepted to the [[Nightmare]] group, to which he also attained leadership status due to his many ideas for the group. However, the group was sold, and Nuworld went back to inactivity. Unfortunately, this was the same case to the next group that he joined, [[The Marketers (2017)]], which happens to be owned by the same owner of [[Nightmare]].

After joining and leading several groups that got sold, Nuworld then decided to apply as a journalist for the Wiki team and was accepted. He found it very enjoyable, as he was able to learn more about [[Hack Forums]] and interact with numerous notable members. After the user [[Viral Dragon]] decided to step down as the Wiki leader, the Wiki team fell apart and recruitment was opened for a new leader of the Wiki team. Nuworld was the only one who stepped up for the task. He was put on trial and managed to revive activity in the wiki, even improving some of its aspects. [[Omniscient]] eventually sent Nuworld a private message appointing him as the new head of the Wiki team, letting him take over the Wiki pages and assigning him as the moderator for the [[Wiki Talk]] section as well.

He stumbled upon it after searching for the term "hacking" on Google, as he was having a rough day at work and was interested to hack his supervisor as a way to get back at him. Eventually, he decided to forget hacking his supervisor as he started to browse on the forums instead.

For the first few months, he was nothing more than a lurker -- reading multiple threads in a day without even leaving any posts. However, becoming concerned that his computer might have fallen victim to a virus, he then decided to post in the [[White Hat Malware, Virus, and Rat Removal Help]] section. Upon posting, a member by the name of Knautschtabak assisted him in removing the virus successfully. It was then that Nuworld found interest in malware removal and decided to spend his free time in the section to learn as much as he could on the subject. Knautschtabak also decided to put out a recruitment thread stating he would teach 5 members everything he knew about virus removal. Nuworld was selected as one of the 5 members, and after a year of learning, he became a notable member in the [[White Hat Malware, Virus, and Rat Removal Help]] section.

His contributions to the [[White Hat Malware, Virus, and Rat Removal Help]] section caught the attention of a leader in the [[Brotherhood]], a very prestigious group at that time. Nuworld was swiftly invited and later on became a notable leader himself. Unfortunately, this was all short-lived, as the [[Brotherhood]] was sold to a user named Vyrez. After the sale of the group, Nuworld's activity on the forums declined until he applied and was accepted to the [[Nightmare]] group, to which he also attained leadership status due to his many ideas for the group. However, the group was sold, and Nuworld went back to inactivity. Unfortunately, this was the same case to the next group that he joined, [[The Marketers (2017)]], which happens to be owned by the same owner of [[Nightmare]].

After joining and leading several groups that got sold, Nuworld then decided to apply as a journalist for the Wiki team and was accepted. He found it very enjoyable, as he was able to learn more about [[Hack Forums]] and interact with numerous notable members. After the user [[Viral Dragon]] decided to step down as the Wiki leader, the Wiki team fell apart and recruitment was opened for a new leader of the Wiki team. Nuworld was the only one who stepped up for the task. He was put on trial and managed to revive activity in the wiki, even improving some of its aspects. [[Omniscient]] eventually sent Nuworld a private message appointing him as the new head of the Wiki team, letting him take over the Wiki pages and assigning him as the moderator for the [[Wiki Talk]] section as well.

Armada starting creating the Orcus Project in late 2015 with the user [https://hackforums.net/member.php?action=profile&uid=2883763 Sorzus]. The project took 6 months to release to the public. Once the project was released, the market exploded. It is estimated that around 4000 units were sold between the various versions available.

When asked about his hopes surrounding the project, Armada replied.
<blockquote>I did not have a large hope for Orcus. It was curiosity I would say that got it all started. Sorzus had posted about a project he had written and wanted the communities opinion on what to do with it. I PMed him out of curiosity and with my experience with Remote Admin Tools, Realized the power and flexibility he had incorporated into the project (Then known as Snorkel) I discussed with him to launch it professionally, and well, that is how it started. After testing and Implementation, My central hope was to be a leader in the professional Remote Administrative technologies industry, despite the numerous setbacks, I feel we have accomplished what we wanted to do.</blockquote>

| Biography = Mr. Robot first joined Hack Forums in early 2015 whilst looking for a way to secure his wireless network from intrusion. Whilst searching, HF appeared as he stumbled upon a thread talking about pixie for WPS hacking, a topic that was new to him and instantly hooked him in. Prior to joining, the Australian ran a small internet café with 12 computers and has always had a strong passion for technology.

In the first few months of browsing for interesting topics, Mr. Robot came across the group [[Red Lions]] and was inspired to live up to their example of dedicating themselves to teaching others. It had become a dream to one day represent the group and in September of 2016, he turned down an invitation to join the group, feeling like he had more to learn when it came to following the rules. When asked why he constantly releases high-quality tutorials for free, Robot stated:
<blockquote>My main motivation on Hack Forums is to bounce ideas off other people. It's important to me that everyone has a base level of understanding - at least about things that can be done and to have an open mind about exploring new ideas and changing their opinions. I can only learn so much on my own so if I can skip some corners for others, they can learn on their paths and hopefully share back with things I would have never thought of myself. From this, we can come together as a community and come up with ideas to allow growth in the 'hacking' field.</blockquote>

Having one of the highest post counts, Mr. Robot has previously admitted to being addicted to the forum, explaining that he enjoys "being able to communicate honestly and openly about topics with other users and see the progress and growth of [his] own investments into others (knowledge wise), making an ROI." In addition to enjoying watching other people gain knowledge and develop, he said, when asked, that HF has benefitted him in several ways as well, stating:
<blockquote>I've been able to develop and work with many users on the forum on different projects - while also leading up to some ideas I've had for hardware devices I now sell. It [Hack Forums] does take up a lot of my time, I think it averages 8 hours a day almost every day but it's like any job really.</blockquote>

On the 6th of October, 2018, Mr. Robot announced his official group, owned by [[TrustWoofer]], called [[Cyber Gentlemen]]. The group was a vision of his, consisting of members who aspire to always "be respectful to those who deserve respect", aiming to consists of some of the highest quality members the site had to offer.

When asked about some of his most memorable moments and highlights, there were many things that stuck out, with some of the key things he stated being:
<blockquote>I think helping track down scammers is something I really enjoy. Getting the HF logo as a tattoo and having a user called [[Kawen]] pay $2,000 USD for a tattoo and award [are both rather memorable moments].
[Another highlight is] being the only, I believe, user to have all of the gems - [[r00t]] being given to me before it was the award for upgrading to that tier. Also, the many 'earned' awards from Omniscient which I have sold a few off since that became a feature.</blockquote>

A piece of advice that Mr. Robot would give to a new member of Hack Forums is:

Which occurred on the 1st of April, 2014, recruitment into the newly-formed group became a priority due to many of the members of [[Complexity]] (and therefore Infamous) got removed. So, each month [[Judge Dredd]] proposed a one-time paid entry into the group on several occasions. In fact, on a monthly basis, stretching out to a total of three consecutive months. However, this is speaking purely for members. There is one instance in which a leadership position became available for purchase.

==== Membership recruitment ====
Firstly, the "Johnny's Apple Seed Paid Recruitment" was proposed on the 6th of April, 2014, for which members were expected to pay $79.00 (USD) via PayPal only. Three spots were available when the recruitment got initially proposed.

# If you have a legit scam report on Hack Forums, then you will be denied membership.
# If you get kicked for violating the rules/policies of either Infamous or Hack Forums, then you must pay the full amount again to rejoin.

While the price for entry remained the same, other terms and opportunities had been revisited seemingly the better. Firstly, 12 spots were available at the beginning of this juncture. Although, these places were filled approximately in a month. Secondly, rather than it being a PayPal-only transaction through [[bugga]], applicants then had the opportunity to use BTC via [[Judge Dredd]].

On the 18th of June, 2014, reopened recruitment with the intention of acquiring (in total) 150 members. Hence the title "The Road To 150 Members."
The terms mirrored that of the previous recruitment proposal. However, with it was noted explicitly that an applicant who instigates a chargeback would be kicked and blacklisted from the group. Regardless of conspicuity, it is safe to assume that this goes for all prior and future recruitment into the group.

| Biography = Although Viral Dragon joined September 30, 2008, he lurked in the background of the forum for about a year prior, closer to when Hack Forums first opened. He felt compelled to officially register after he saw a topic in which a user was getting what he felt was bad advice. Since then, he has kept a constant presence on the forum, with his main goal always about educating other users in various fields of hacking and computer-related topics.

Viral Dragon has been a member several groups, as well as leader of some. His past leadership positions have included the groups Reverence, Eminence, Wifi Gang (for a short period of time after Eminence changed its name), Root, Coders and Reviewers. His leadership has been notably strict, not letting members go inactive or sit in a group without giving some form of contribution. He went inactive and was removed as leader before Root was disbanded and the leaders were banned. He was also working to revamp the Reviewers group as it was closed by Omniscient. He passed leadership of the Wiki division of the Writ3rs group to [[Ethereal]] in December 2014. On September 9, 2013, Viral Dragon was made a Mentor, and in August 2014, he was made a member of the Hack Forums Staff.

Viral Dragon's personal life does cross into the forum on occasion. In December of 2012, he fell ill to the point of needing hospitalization. This interfered with several of his leadership positions, including the Writ3rs, whose Wiki team saw a temporary change in leadership while he was away. Although he went inactive in posting, he says he "kept tabs" on what was happening around the forum. In December of 2013, a mass of tissue was found on his brain, following seizures that would happen at random, every four months or so. His health following the discovery of what was eventually a benign brain tumor has taken a toll on his leadership activity on Hack Forums, although he kept his activity as staff constant.

In the fall of 2013, rumors were spread over Tiny Chat and other venues that Viral Dragon was an undercover FBI agent, a title that is not looked upon with favor among the general Hack Forums community. This led to numerous members asking Viral Dragon for confirmation. His answer has always been the same: he doesn't work for them in any way, shape or form. Omniscient has also stated that the rumors are of no importance to him.

Viral Dragon's wife [[iceybunneh]] is also a member of Hack Forums and they have been seen posting together in the Innuendo section.

Upon posting, a member by the name of Knautschtabak assisted him in removing the virus successfully. It was then that Nuworld found interest in malware removal and decided to spend his free time in the section to learn as much as he could on the subject. Knautschtabak also decided to put out a recruitment thread stating he would teach 5 members everything he knew about virus removal. Nuworld was selected as one of the 5 members, and after a year of learning, he became a notable member in the [[White Hat Malware, Virus, and Rat Removal Help]] section.

His contributions to the [[White Hat Malware, Virus, and Rat Removal Help]] section caught the attention of a leader in the [[Brotherhood]], a very prestigious group at that time. Nuworld was swiftly invited and later on became a notable leader himself. Unfortunately, this was all short-lived, as the [[Brotherhood]] was sold to a user named Vyrez. After the sale of the group, Nuworld's activity on the forums declined until he applied and was accepted to the [[Nightmare]] group, to which he also attained leadership status due to his many ideas for the group. However, the group was sold, and Nuworld went back to inactivity. Unfortunately, this was the same case to the next group that he joined, [[The Marketers (2017)]], which happens to be owned by the same owner of [[Nightmare]].

After joining and leading several groups that got sold, Nuworld then decided to apply as a journalist for the Wiki team and was accepted. He found it very enjoyable, as he was able to learn more about [[Hack Forums]] and interact with numerous notable members. After the user [[Viral Dragon]] decided to step down as the Wiki leader, the Wiki team fell apart and recruitment was opened for a new leader of the Wiki team. Nuworld was the only one who stepped up for the task. He was put on trial and managed to revive activity in the wiki, even improving some of its aspects. [[Omniscient]] eventually sent Nuworld a private message appointing him as the new head of the Wiki team, letting him take over the Wiki pages and assigning him as the moderator for the [[Wiki Talk]] section as well.

The members of the group strived to maintain a high standard of their posts, threads and giveaways, by posting large hacking packs, programs or graphic resources for the community.
With the removal of all free custom usergroups, the group’s userbar was changed. This was one of the only groups for this to happen.

After a spate of absences which impacted the operation and running of the group, Wolves and Hуѕтєяιa X™ were promoted to fill in for nokia2mon2. These two leaders later stepped down from their positions, which were then filled by Morchid and Glassy. Several months later in mid-2011, due to complications with staff, Morchid was banned and removed from leadership. Glassy solely maintained leadership until a spate of inactivity lead iHydra and !!* Alone Vampire *!! to be promoted to leadership positions. Ownership is still maintained by nokia2mon2.

The Red Lions usergroup was given as a gift to nokia2mon2 by [[Omniscient]], following a series of large donations to the forum. The first recruitment thread was posted on the 10th of January 2011 by nokia2mon2 as the sole leader of the group.

The members of the group strived to maintain a high standard of their posts, threads and giveaways, by posting large hacking packs, programs or graphic resources for the community.
With the removal of all free custom usergroups, the group’s userbar was changed. This was one of the only groups for this to happen.

After a spate of absences which impacted the operation and running of the group, Wolves and Hуѕтєяιa X™ were promoted to fill in for nokia2mon2. These two leaders later stepped down from their positions, which were then filled by Morchid and Glassy. Several months later in mid-2011, due to complications with staff, Morchid was banned and removed from leadership.
