| Introduction = The Empire was a group dedicated to increasing the quality of Hack Forums and providing assistance to new and old members. The Empire was highly considered as a family-like group and members within the group were all extremely close and very good friends. The Empire aimed to set an example to all other groups and members on Hack Forums, constantly posting tutorials, guides, help desks, contests and giveaways. The Empire had an extensive list of leaders and encouraged members to work towards achieving great things. The Empire was one of the longest standing groups in the history of Hack Forums. Group projects were frequently set for members with an extremely extensive variety of topics and subjects for said projects.

Shortly after, a joint purchase was made by [[Tibit]], [[630]], [[Hades]] and [[Detroit]] in August 2012, officializing the group. | Introduction = Riptide was an official group based around media and the performing arts. Riptide was created for Hack Forums members to discuss their love for anything media related, such as the discussion of favorite movies/music, sharing music that members had created, discussing poetry and much more. Riptide was also a group for graphic artists and members were free to share their own art as well as give feedback on other members art. Riptide members created a very tight family-like aura within the group and were very active in the groups sub-forum.

Riptide had planned to release a mix tape as a group, containing music from several Riptide members, however these plans fell through when group activity died down. Another group project Riptide members had planned was to create a web store where Riptide members could sell their media, however this too fell through due to activity dying down and eventually, the group being sold.

| Introduction = The Alliance was one of the first ever groups created on Hack Forums and one of the very few that were handed official status for no cost whatsoever. The Alliance aimed to make Hack Forums an active and friendly community. Members had strict requirements that needed to be met, and only the highest of quality was accepted into the group. Many members of The Alliance went on to become [[Mentors]], [[Staff]] and [[Administrators]], proving that the group bred some of Hack Forums highest quality members.

The Alliance was created to offer support to new and old members alike, with no other group sharing the same genre. | Introduction = Nightmare considered themselves a friendly group that was dedicated to giving back to the members of Hack Forums. Nightmare members were always urged to help one another and by doing so, created a family style aura surrounding the group. The Nightmare did not have a set purpose, and instead, members were encouraged to be free thinkers and steer away from the regular 'status quo' that Hack Forums tends to set upon its members. The Nightmare had two password protected sub-forums, The Underworld and Prism. These private sub-forums were where Nightmare members embarked upon their various range of group projects and only serious discussion was permitted.

Zero wanted to disrupt all the drama and fighting in the lounge and attempted to make Hack Forums a friendly, funnier community to be a part of. Zero members were known to be a tightly knit community, presenting themselves with a family-like aura. Zero was a very laid back group with little to no rules, as everyone within the group was chilled and relaxed. Zero had basic requirements; however, members were chosen very carefully as you needed to be a particular type of person and have a proper understanding of what Zero was all about.

| Introduction = Fusion was an official group based solely on gaming. They aimed to fulfill the void status of gaming groups on HackForums, giving gaming lovers on Hack Forums a group they could feel at home. Fusion members were encouraged to share gaming videos and tutorials, discuss their favorite games and platforms and compete with one another. Fusion was famously known for having two teams within their group; team orange and team blue. Upon acceptance into Fusion, members were allocated a team, orange or blue, in which they would compete for when official Fusion tournaments were hosted.

Fusion had their own Minecraft server that was open to the general public of HackForums. Fusion members made decisions regarding the server, and every update was agreed upon by Fusion members.

| Introduction = Rhythm was an official group based on the production, publication, distribution, and recognition of music. They had many dancing and singing competitions within the group, occasionally hosting public events for all Hack Forums members to participate. Music was not regularly discussed on Hack Forums, and [[Positive]] wanted to change that with Rhythm, attempting to make music a bigger part of Hack Forums. Rhythm eventually became more of a lounge style group, reaching 100,000 posts in the groups private sub-forum. This was the most amount of posts any group had ever achieved within their private sub-forum.

| History = Rhythm was originally [[Techsperts]] before [[Positive]] decided to re-brand the group to Rhythm. [[Positive]] created several polls to see what direction the Hack Forums community wanted [[Techsperts]] to go, with Rhythm being the outright winner. Rhythm was formed in June 2012 and their first public recruitment was on the 18th of June, 2012. Rhythm had several open recruitment threads and accepted buy-ins on each occasion.

On the 8th of November, 2012, [[Tibit]] announced to Hack Forums that he had purchased the group and immediately removed all members. Rhythm later turned into [[The Corporation]].

All sorts of notorious activities take place within the Syndicate sub-forum and no information regarding the sub-forum can be shared whatsoever.
