| Biography = Xerotic started his [[Hack Forums]] journey in 2010 as a programming freak, who had coded many scripts for the community, with one of them being the popular [https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=4003833 Hack Forums Utility Pack]. He has a zeal for learning, and most of his posts can be found in the [[Coding and Programming]] forum. Besides this, he is quite active in [[The Lounge]] and [[Rules, Announcements, News, and Feedback]] forum.
In 2011, Xerotic became a [[Staff]] member.
In 2012, Xerotic worked with [[Omniscient]] to update plugins, where he eventually became an admin on [http://mybbcentral.com MyBB Central]] by assisting with the updates of Tabbed Menu, Ficons, Username History, MyAwards, Ad Manager, Self-Close, and more.
Xerotic also states that he loves programming and will probably be his career for life.

| Biography = Vitani discovered [[Hack Forums]] after googling for a problem with a bash script he couldn't solve. At first, he registered under the alias “ FroZenFire” which later he felt discontent and decided to settle his current alias which is “Vitani”.
Like most users, he set out to learn more about coding, hacking and other IT related subjects that interested him. At first, he was a ghost user who rarely interacted with the community. However, he slowly began to change over the years wherein he started to engage heavily in various discussions about Networking, Coding, Cryptography and Ethical Hacking.
Hack Forums community has helped inspire Vitani to pursue a lifelong career in cyber-security, as currently, he's working towards becoming an IT consultant in the network security branch.
Vitani has been a leader and owner of the group [[Notorious]] where he dedicated dozens of hours, successfully recruiting and maintaining a small community based around pen testing, malware removal, cryptography, reverse engineering, and botnets/RATs.

| Biography = Steve found about Hack Forums through his best friend [[Xerotic]], who was already an active and notable member of the site but at the time didn't understand much of it. Eventually Steve and [[Xerotic]] became roommates and [[Xerotic]] convinced Steve to become a member of Hack Forums. He began to spend most of his time in the [[Education Nation]] assisting members with math problems. He started to build a decent reputation on the Forums and after taking a short break, he decided to return to Hack Forums and applied for [[Ub3r]]. He managed to get [[Ub3r]] and became even more active on the site. Shortly after becoming [[Ub3r]], Steve and [[Xerotic]] decided to work on cracking the prestige formula. Something that after 9 years of Hack Forums at the time, had still not been figured out. They eventually cracked it, and released a thread explaining the formula and the factors that are in place. After a few days, [[Omniscient]] confirmed that the formula was indeed correct. On January, 2017 after months of assisting members in various sections, Steve was finally promoted to mentor. He also joined the Hack Forums wiki team as a journalist for a brief time but decided that this position was not for him. Steve currently assists members in various sections to that best of his ability, and has realized that Hack Forums is not just a regular forum but a very solid community.

| Biography = Eagle 95 first found Hack Forums while randomly browsing the internet searching for information on hacking. He liked the look of the forum, and joined immediately to learn the art of hacking.

Eagle 95 found many useful tutorials on how to hack, and first got interested in RATting, which he performed well at but regrets not monetizing his bots. Soon after, to improve his skills, he joined the group [[D.S. Inc]] which was led by [[The Rated R Superstar]]. Eagle 95 then went on to join [[RATs Crew]], [[Philker]], [[The Wraith]], and [[Black Knights]], before leaving [[RATs Crew]], because he felt the leaders were pushing members too hard and members weren't getting much in return except the userbar. Because of his membership and contribution in Black Knights, the member Maximo Decimo Meridio decided to upgrade him to [[L33t]].

Eagle 95 was having a lot of fun "hacking," but soon that desire turned toward becoming a white hat & learning about websites. That meant regularly helping in [[White Hat Malware, Virus, and Rat Removal Help]] and the [[Webmasters]] forum. His ambitions were to get into [[HiJack This! Team]], [[Reviewers]] & [[The Alliance]].

As time passed, Eagle 95 wanted to become [[Ub3r]] to qualify for [[Reviewers]]. A member called D_e_T_o_X brought this wish to reality by gifting him [[Ub3r]]. To make things even better, he got invited by Infallible to join the [[Hiajck This! Team]] training program. It was a pleasant surprise, but sadly Eagle 95 had to turn down the offer due to study commitments IRL. He was invited into the [[Reviewers]] a bit later, as well as becoming a member of [[The Alliance]]. Eagle 95 met many great people in [[The Alliance]], and that was the best experience he has had on [[Hack Forums]]. After groups had become paid, [[The Alliance]] was disbanded, and [[Omniscient]] was blocking Eagle 95's country on and off which caused a massive drop in his activity. He was somewhat active from 2013 to 2015, but Eagle 95 made a full comeback in 2016.

On January 10, 2017, [[Omniscient]] promoted Eagle 95 to Probational Staff. Eagle 95 has served as a [[Staff]] member since then.

Eagle 95 also joined the [[Hack Forums]] [[Writers]] as the official thread mover for the [[HF News]] Team near the end of 2017.

On October 2, 2017, Eagle posted a high quality guide on time managment that earned him his first [[Sticky Man]] award. This guide focused on all the steps nessessary to eliminate procrastination and lead a productive life.

| Biography = Although Viral Dragon joined September 30, 2008, he lurked in the background of the forum for about a year prior, closer to when Hack Forums first opened. He felt compelled to officially register after he saw a topic in which a user was getting what he felt was bad advice. Since then, he has kept a constant presence on the forum, with his main goal always about educating other users in various fields of hacking and computer-related topics.

Viral Dragon has been a member several groups, as well as leader of some. His past leadership positions have included the groups Reverence, Eminence, Wifi Gang (for a short period of time after Eminence changed its name), Root, Coders and Reviewers. His leadership has been notably strict, not letting members go inactive or sit in a group without giving some form of contribution. He went inactive and was removed as leader before Root was disbanded and the leaders were banned. He was also working to revamp the Reviewers group as it was closed by Omniscient. He passed leadership of the Wiki division of the Writ3rs group to [[Ethereal]] in December 2014. On September 9, 2013, Viral Dragon was made a Mentor, and in August 2014, he was made a member of the Hack Forums Staff.

Viral Dragon's personal life does cross into the forum on occasion. In December of 2012, he fell ill to the point of needing hospitalization. This interfered with several of his leadership positions, including the Writ3rs, whose Wiki team saw a temporary change in leadership while he was away. Although he went inactive in posting, he says he "kept tabs" on what was happening around the forum. In December of 2013, a mass of tissue was found on his brain, following seizures that would happen at random, every four months or so. His health following the discovery of what was eventually a benign brain tumor has taken a toll on his leadership activity on Hack Forums, although he kept his activity as staff constant.

In the fall of 2013, rumors were spread over Tiny Chat and other venues that Viral Dragon was an undercover FBI agent, a title that is not looked upon with favor among the general Hack Forums community. This led to numerous members asking Viral Dragon for confirmation. His answer has always been the same: he doesn't work for them in any way, shape or form. Omniscient has also stated that the rumors are of no importance to him.

Viral Dragon's wife [[iceybunneh]] is also a member of Hack Forums and they have been seen posting together in the Innuendo section.

| Biography = Minimalist had known about Hack Forums for months leading up to his registration in 2013, but it was only when a competing forum closed down that he decided to join to Hack Forums. He has a passion for computers and gaming which explained his activity in Minecraft sections, developing client and server mods for his personal use. Talking about his interest in programming, he notes his regret for not going further with coding at a younger age.

He eventually found his way out of these sections, and into the HealthWise, Marketplace, The Lounge sections, among some others. In the Marketplace, he quickly established a name for himself with his currency exchange and middleman services, resulting in a safer marketplace for many. Minimalist has donated over $1000 to Hack Forums with $1500 in awards to his name.

Minimalist was promoted to a Probational Staff member by [[Omniscient]] on January 10, 2017.

| History = Previously, the group was known as [[Minecrafters]]. It got later rebranded into Root by the owner, [[Castle Bravo]], as [[Minecrafters]] disbanded due to the inactivity which followed the resetting of the Hack Forums Minecraft server. The original purpose of Root got officially announced on the 10th of April 2012. Where [[Castle Bravo]] and [[Viral Dragon]] (Leader at that time) declared that the group is a general-purpose computing group which aimed to share knowledge related to computing and offers general help to members of the group.

On the 8th of June, 2012, [[Castle Bravo]] posted two threads announcing that Root is accepting all applicants, which were closed two days after. On the 11th of June, 2012, a day following the apparent end of the incident as mentioned above, [[Castle Bravo]] put the group up for auction starting at $250 (USD). The auction ended on the 21st of June, 2012, with [[Ignite]] offering the highest bid of $2,100 (USD). However, [[Castle Bravo]] did not follow through with selling the group. On the 29th of July, 2012, [[Castle Bravo]] further presented his doubts about Root's direction by requesting the opinion of Hack Forums members via a [https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=2722495 public thread] regarding whether or not he should bring back [[Minecrafters]]. However, Root remained. One last time, [[Castle Bravo]] attempted to sell Root at a starting bid of $4,000 (USD), or $4,500 (USD) buy-it-now. However, the group did not sell and continued to remain under the ownership of [[Castle Bravo]]. Somewhere between these events, [[Castle Bravo]] gave [[Starfall]] and [[RyanC]] full reign over the group as leaders and became detached from the group's affairs. It was the time the group focused on hacking related topics. The group was very exclusive, and just about all activity was off-site in the group's private IRC.

| History = In January 2013, Anonymous and Vinnie decided to partner up and purchase a group together. They purchased '[[The Corporation]]' and renamed it to Legion.

Within the first month of the group's creation, its members had already contributed greatly to the Hacking Tutorial section with a bevy of in-depth tutorials. In February, their official "Help Desk" was established in the Beginner Hacking section, which garnered several hundred replies. Due to the success of this Help Desk, more were created, dedicated to specific topics such as hash decryption and RATs.

On February 5th, 2013, [[Omniscient]] [http://www.hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=3235050 announced] that the Hack Forums upgrades database had been compromised. It was later learned that this was due to the acts of a member from [[Root]]. There was hostility between Root and Legion as they were both hacking-oriented groups, and subsequently, the personal information of each member of Legion was released. The accounts of the Root leaders were later closed, along with the Root usergroup.
