| Introduction = Torque is a group dedicated to automotive enthusiasts. The members of this group pride themselves on their vast knowledge of all things automotive and are very passionate about a variety of vehicles. They are the first exclusively automotive-based group on HackForums.
| History = Torque was founded on 9th December 2016 after [[Cameron]] purchased the previous iteration, [[Titans]], from [[Realizm]]. He acquired the group with the intention of doing something new and posted a thread asking the wider Hack Forums community for their thoughts on an automotive group; the response he received was overwhelmingly positive. Another thread was created shortly after with a poll in regards to what the name of the group should be. The options were:
*Boosted
*NOS
*Torque
*Pit Stop
*RPM
*Turbo
*Aftermarket
Torque received the largest amount of votes, and therefore the group name was decided.

They have held two recruitments. [https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5488528 The first recruitment] took place on 13th January 2017 and they received a mass of applicants, the thread itself having over 300 replies. [https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=5594023 The second recruitment] didn't receive as many applicants as the first but captured the attention of those very keen on cars.

| Introduction = Aequitas is a group of IT enthusiasts that pride themselves on primarily their IT security expertise. The group members each have individual skills or areas in which they excel in the realm of IT. They work together collaboratively to better each other's IT knowledge. They strive to provide a suitable working and learning environment by recruiting users who are exceedingly experienced in IT as well as users who are eager to learn more.
| History = Aequitas was formed on the 16th of January 2017 after [[ra1d]] purchased the previous iteration, [[Enigma]], from [[zSerity]] for an undisclosed amount. The group had existed before the acquisition of an official on-site group and worked primarily off-site. [[ra1d]] had originally planned on launching on February 1st as that is when it was agreed he would receive the group, but he was able to secure it earlier in January. Both the banner and user bar was designed by [[#Doge]].

Aequitas are known for their very strict recruitment system. The first on-site recruitment was held on the 10th of February 2017, although it was nothing ordinary. [[LaPanthere]] designed a challenge that users would have to complete to join Aequitas, aptly named 'Capture the Flag.' It required users to demonstrate a variety of IT skills which would be beneficial to the group. Their second and latest recruitment was available for regular applicants on 18th March 2017.

| Introduction = Nightfall strived to be one of the most active groups on Hack Forums, revolving specifically around gaming. Team members were expected to stay very active and committed. They held a variety of recruitments for different games such as Runescape, Minecraft, League of Legends, as well as general public recruitments.
| History = The group was re-branded on 14th November 2014 from it's preceding iteration, [[Instinct]]. [[Vinnie]], [[Instinct |Instinct's]] leader, felt as if the group needed a change. Nightfall withheld similar concepts to that of its prior branding, basing itself around gaming. The leaders of the group held an array of recruitments for plenty of big games. The skill level of members was not assessed, therefore allowing diversity within the group. There were those top tier players, as well as vast amounts of casual gamers.

On the 26th of March 2015, [[Omniscient]] suspended the group for one month as leaders and members of Nightfall were caught harassing and rep abusing other members of the wider community. All the group forums were closed, all leaders got removed and the owner, [[Vinnie]], was suspended. [[Omniscient]] stated:

After the suspension, [[Vinnie]] re-branded the group back into its prior iteration, [[Instinct]].
| CurrentStatus = The group is currently defunct. It was reverted to its original iteration, [[Instinct]], upon both the group and [[Vinnie |Vinnie's]] suspension ending on the 26th of April 2015.

| Introduction = SheepGang was primarily a gaming group that hosted multiple tournaments across various platforms and video games. The leaders placed members into one of the two teams within the user group, the white or black sheep. The purpose of the group was to provide a competitive gaming environment for the wider Hack Forums community. To be in the group, you were required to possess three main traits: patience, dedication, and cooperation.
| History = SheepGang was originally an off-site group of friends that regularly played video games together. It was founded in early 2013, although the official Hack Forums group got established on May 5th, 2016. [[Divined]] initially planned on selling the previous iteration, [[Squad]], but due to [[Fusion]]'s lack of activity, he decided to re-brand into a gaming group. [[-Sam-]] was dropped as a leader when the re-brand occurred and one of the original off-site members, [[Mojo™]], was given his position. [[Divined]] wanted to provide the community with an active group where people interested in video games could play, compete and discuss video games together. He attempted to organize competitions between gaming groups, but plans often fell through. The general activity of the group was immense near the beginning but gradually diminished as time progressed. [[Divined]] decided to sell the group upon needing money for some issues he was having in real life.
| CurrentStatus = This group was sold to [[V For Vendetta.]] who re-branded it into the subsequent iteration, [[Kingpin]]. The price paid for the user group remains undisclosed.
