It is the user group all Administrators belong. They perform essential tasks such as approving users for UB3R, moderating the forums, creating new forums and several other functions which are critical in keeping Hack Forums running.
Until early 2018 Omniscient was the only administrator of HF in a long time. However due to realignments and other changes three more admins are being promoted. [[Factor8™|Factor8]], [[Phixel]] and [[Xerotic]].

| Introduction = This is the user group all Staff Members are a part of. Staff members have extensive moderation abilities over the forum. This includes the ability to warn users, ban users, prevent forum spam and several other duties. Staff members are chosen by [[Omniscient]].
| History = The Staff group has always existed since the forum's creation. Throughout the years there have been over 50 different staff members. The members [[Judge Dredd]], [[IBruteForce]], [[Factor8™]], [[Guru]], [[Crow]], [[Xerotic]] and [[Xch4ng3]] were the only six staff members ever to go on to become [[Administrators]].

| Introduction = Genesis was intended to be a crypto-currency related group, and to only recruit the wisest, most influential and wealthiest individuals active in the cryptocurrency section.

| History = Genesis was purchased as a new group by user DevNet from [[Omniscient]] on February 2, 2017.

When the group was purchased, DevNet appointed his friend, Ochalhi, a leader of the group.

Unfortunately, the group did not last long as it was sold to user [[Divined]] shortly after. There were no graphics, nor recruitment done for the group.

| Introduction = Minecrafters was a group that dedicated their entirety to the [[Minecraft]] section of the forum, as well as running an official [[Hack Forums]] Minecraft server. The group wanted to improve the playing experience for all [[Hack Forums]]’ Minecraft players.

| History = The group was purchased in 2011 by [[Castle Bravo]] and he decided to go with a Minecraft group. They had an official server dedicated to the [[Hack Forums]] name.

While [[Castle Bravo]] owned the group, he was being assisted by his chosen leaders Pink Flloyd and Barneyyz™.

The idea was originally provided by Pink Flloyd, as you can see [https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=1696308 here] which received an overwhelmingly positive response. Needless to say, the community was excited for the new official Minecraft group, as during this time Minecraft was nearly at its peak population.

Minecrafters had a short run, however as just a few months later, they were rebranded by [[Castle Bravo]] into the official usergroup [[Root]].

| Introduction = RATs Crew was one of the first groups on [[Hack Forums]]. The group centered around Remote Administration Tools (RATs) and assisting users in the [[Remote Administration Tools]] section of the forum. They were infamously known for their name. The crew was originally formed as a non-official group on July 9th, 2008.

| History = The RATs Crew and their leaders traditionally only recruited those that were active within the [[Remote Administration Tools]] subforum. They were generally a more popular group in their prime. Assisting the aforementioned claim are three of the top most replied threads in the subforum, obtaining nearly 1,000+ replies on each individual thread which were posted in the group’s name.

Despite the actual branding of the usergroup and what most people might think, you didn't need to be an active user of said tools to be a member of the organization. In fact, there was a thread created, stating that even the owner of the group himself no longer actively used these malicious programs. The group simply wanted those who were knowledgeable of Remote Administration Tools. Originally, the group was run by [[Zach]] and [[xerotic]]. Overtime, as the group started to grow in popularity, more leaders were added to help with recruitment, such as [[Qwazz]], Zɛus, and Swag. Each of these members played a role in the group’s recruitment

The RATs Crew contributed a surplus of tools and programs for the forum’s disposal, those of which were also very popular themselves.
Later, in 2012, [[Omniscient]] released the follow statement on Twitter: "RATs Crew is deleted. I'm not going to put up with any BS from its leaders." Following this post, the group was then promptly closed, and the RATs Crew was history.
