During this phase of Dawn's history, specialists in some areas were recruited to teach Dawn's members valuable and useful information. The initial course offerings were in the field of graphic design, coding, and English writing. However, as time passed, it became apparent that Dawn's instructors were producing course material at an unsatisfactory rate for some in leadership. With that being the case, leadership started to explore the idea of changing Dawn's focus. In December of 2016, [[๖ۣۜInfamy]] bought [[Water Aura]]'s share of Dawn, thus making him both majority and official owner of the group. At that point, the group refocused on education, and that is where its focus remains today. The [[Hack Forums]] Writ3rs usergroup currently consists of 2 subforums hosting the Wiki team and the News team. The News team is lead by [[iHydra]] while the Wiki team is lead by [[James]].

Before the group was even brought to the public's attention, there was discussion on the idea for an official [[Hack Forums]] Wiki, between the owner [[Omniscient]] and the user [[itylernallen]] over various instant messaging platforms, as Omniscient did not have enough time to work on the Wiki himself. In early 2011, Omniscient posted a thread asking members about their opinion on having an official Hack Forums Wiki, which was greeted largely with positive feedback. This resulted in itylernallen being granted leadership of the Hack Forums Wiki Team.

Around this time, the incident known as the Hostile Takeover of the News (which can be found [https://hackforums.net/showthread.php?tid=1660053 here]), resulted in Omniscient adding [[Sir]] to the Writ3rs team as the third and final member, in order to draft and publish the weekly HF News articles. Soon after, itylerallen received permission to officially add the Wiki team to the Writ3rs usergroup on the 9th of November 2011, as there had been relatively no progress made on the Wiki in this time period. The News team was added shortly after.

The Wiki team initially faced hosting issues regarding the Wiki, which temporarily delayed the publishing of articles. Soon after, itylernallen left his position as leader of Writ3rs, and the group in general, leaving the Wiki team without official leadership. [[Viral Dragon]] appointed himself as the temporary leader of the Wiki team so that articles could continue to be created and ended up hosting the Wiki on his own servers to avoid any potential issues. He was formerly added as a leader on the 12th of March, 2012.

On the 7th of March 2012, Omniscient produced a new rule which demanded that all members of the Writ3rs are at least a part of the [[Ub3r]] group and not regular or [[L33t]] members, in order to preserve the quality and representation of the group.

The two groups initially shared a single subforum, with discrepancies made by prefixes in the thread titles. This resulted in clutter and difficulty finding Wiki articles or News segments.To alleviate the strain on the single section, two sub-sections were created for each respective team on the 9th of July, 2013. The two sections of the group currently run independently of each other, with one section focusing on articles being written for the Wiki and the other for the weekly news articles, which are produced to inform users of the happenings around the forum.

In early December 2012, Viral Dragon took a break from the group due to hospitalization, leaving [[Ethereal]] and [[D3xus]] in charge of the Wiki team in his absence. He returned to the group unofficially in mid June 2013 and took control of the Wiki team again officially in July of that same year. His health interfered in his activity throughout 2014, and in December he formally passed leadership of the Wiki Team to Ethereal, after announcing that most of the work on the Wiki was complete. The Wiki saw its official launch on the 10th of March 2015.

Shortly following the release of the Wiki, after increased tension between the News and Wiki Teams in the Writ3rs group, Sir and others within the News Team released an unofficial Hack Forums W1K1 to counter the official Wiki. They cited the lack of content and what they considered overall failure of the Wiki project as their reason to launch the W1K1. As a result, Sir lost leadership of the News Team and his account was closed. His permanent closure left the future of the News Team uncertain, until [[iHydra]] was appointed leadership by Omniscient on the 19th March 2015.

| Introduction = Panthers is built on the idea of bringing people together to form a community that helps one another. Zeus was tired of being messed around by other groups after investing in several without seeing positive changes to benefit their members. He wanted to prove that he could make the most active group on Hack Forums. The group is one of the largest on the site, bringing together members from all over the world and uniting them. Through active daily voice chats, people are able to meet others and feel as if they are at home spending the night with their friends, all while being thousands of kilometers away. That is the aim that Zeus had when he founded the group, and it is what Panthers became.
| History = Zeus purchased Panthers from MMLF on June 13, 2020. No more than two weeks later, the announcement thread was posted and Panthers officially opened on June 27. One of his good online friends believed in him and invested to get it started. He was paid back within the first couple of weeks. Cooligan was appointed as the first leader to assist with running the group and getting it off the ground, later being joined by Xen on the administrative side who helped to increase activity in the sub-forum. James was added as a helper to make things easier for the leadership team and was appointed as a leader further down the line. In the first couple of months, Gσđfαtђα was given leader but was later removed due to his lies, manipulation, harassment, toxicity, negative attitude, and attempted takeover of the group.

From the start, Panthers operated as a buy-in group. Users could pay a fee and then get access to Panthers and what it had to offer. Every dollar made through buy-ins is reinvested back into the group, allowing Panthers to break records on HF. It was the first group to have seven stars that could be displayed on posts. This was later joined by a backshadow and bold font style to make usernames stand out more. Panthers was the first group to offer free automated thread bumping as well. New members that join the group are made to feel welcome. They get help with how Hack Forums works and advice when they have doubts.

As time moved on, the user count rapidly increased. Both Nero and Proof joined the leadership team, offering monetary contributions and exclusive perks for members, respectively. Nero began a trend of giving back to the community through donations and contributions, while Proof enabled users to get the best bang for their buck when exchanging currencies through his 1:1 exchange service for Panthers. This allowed users to avoid the hefty fees that other exchangers on the forum charged.

As the number of members in the group increased, as did rivalries. Panthers and Gamblers often crossed paths and had disagreements. Zeus and Lavish Living competed to see who could reach 100 members before the other. While Zeus reached a count of 100 members currently on the site first, Lavish Living reached 100 lifetime members first, irrespective of the total count on the forum and, in part, due to the lower average cost.

The group has given away thousands of dollars to many Hack Forums users through contests and giveaways. Prizes were funded by those in the group. Monthly membership contests regularly take place to give users who might not be able to afford the buy-in a chance to join the group. Additionally, many giveaways occur internally, just for members of Panthers. The prizes come in a variety of forms, ranging from Bitcoin to a free Uber Eats order. Nero sponsors the latter, as well as a variety of other giveaways and donations, totaling well over $2,000. On January 29, he purchased a bold username style for the group’s members.

Many perks are available for members of Panthers, in addition to the giveaways. This includes things like free middlemen services from Cooligan, 1:1 cryptocurrency exchanges from Proof, free automated thread bumping, and a range of product discounts. The group has launched free wellbeing support as well. Panthers Anonymous allows members to get help when they are going through a hard time or need advice on dealing with addictions in a judgement-free zone. It proved to be a success. Several members of the group have used it to get help with drug and gambling addictions. Members are also able to receive financial aid through the Panthers Community Fund, funded by Nero, if they are going through extreme troubles and are able to provide proof beyond reasonable doubt.

The Scholars are responsible for ensuring that journalists' articles are of exceptional quality by editing, revising, and proofreading them prior to publishing - this includes the checking of bb code for broken links and correcting improper formatting. Scholars tend to check a journalists' article on the weekend prior to the upcoming release of the newest edition. To equalize the workload, Editors' will regularly rotate their responsibility through each post of the HF News. (Should you feel the suspicion of plagiarism, you are expected to pursue the doubt, investigate, and inform iHydra of your findings should they be conclusive. Plagiarism is unacceptable on any level and is a dismissable offence.)

===Journalists===
Journalists must transcribe a variety of news into an easily-digestible form for the Hack Forums community every Friday. Your job is to research and write the news for your assigned section (often with a partner) on a weekly basis and without any degree of plagiarism. You are generally given creative control over the topics that you choose to cover, but the length of each article should be at least a paragraph - meaning four or five reasonably sized sentences. Make sure the title covers the entirety of the article's contents, focuses on the main idea, and is easily read. Also use this website to reference proper capitalization techniques. The number of necessary articles depends upon the section to which you are assigned and can always be found under Section Sizes. Always take the time to revise your article before you post it, our Editors are only there to catch anything that slips through the cracks.

===On-Call===
The On-Call Team is responsible for ensuring all articles are completed prior to the upcoming Edition. On the start of every Saturday, your job is to go through the subforum and look for sections that have not been completed yet. Pick one or a few, fill out the claim form, and get to work. You should complete it on the same day so scholars can proofread it on Saturday as well. The on-call system is what will keep the news team stable and the weekly process smooth.

===Interviewer===
Interviewers are given autonomy in regards to their interviewee, the questions they ask, and the color-scheme of their interviews (as long as it does not conflict with another interviewer's color scheme); however, each interview should contain at least 12 questions and be formatted correctly, as canned above in Canned Post Formats. Interviewees can be found in the Interview Applications thread stickied in the HF News section or selectively picked from the entirety of Hack Forums for nearly any reason. It is advised that you do not solely pick friends to interview and that members involved in notable or newsworthy events be given preference for interviews. It is also recommended that you keep a backup interview for emergencies.

| Introduction =Dawn's purpose is to improve the overall well-being of Hack Forums through education and guidance. Inside the group, members are provided with exclusive educational material to better their understanding of certain technical trades. Dawn's leadership hopes the newfound knowledge that their members acquire will be applied to each member's future endeavors and the experience members gain within the group is used to give back to the forum. Dawn is made up of multiple sectors and sector leaders within the group. Each area has one or more sector leaders and a group of students within that sector. | History = Dawn was officially formed on December 16, 2015. It is the fifth group in its lineage, with the most recent predecessor being [[Archive]]. [[Ninetales.]], [[Water Aura]], and [[๖ۣۜInfamy]] pooled together the necessary funds to purchase this group. [[Ninetales.]] was made the official owner although they were all equal co-owners in the investment. Dawn's original focus was gaming. From its inception until March 2016, the group's focus remained the same. In March, Dawn shifted its focus and launched its education initiative. During this phase of Dawn's history, specialists in some areas were recruited to teach Dawn's members valuable and useful information. The initial course offerings were in the field of graphic design, coding, and English writing. However, as time passed, it became apparent that Dawn's instructors were producing course material at an unsatisfactory rate for some in leadership. With that being the case, leadership started to explore the idea of changing Dawn's focus. In December of 2016, [[๖ۣۜInfamy]] bought [[Water Aura]]'s share of Dawn, thus making him both majority and official owner of the group. At that point, the group refocused on education, and that is where its focus remains today.
